President:Jocelyn Gilmour Masters in Stratified Medicine and Pharmacological Innovation Having been one of the founding members of GUCFS, I have been with the society since the very beginning. After being both Secretary & Vice President, I finally plucked up the courage to be President. Being part of GUCFS has been incredible. Not only have I helped to raise £30,000 for charity but I have made friends for life and gained invaluable skills. I am excited for the year ahead and to put on our best show ever.

Secretary: Raphaella Gordon-Saker 3rd Year History of Art I got involved in GUCFS at the beginning of my 1st year at Uni as a Brand Ambassador, we were the first team of BAs and it was a really exciting time to join the society. I wanted to get involved in GUCFS as it merges all of the things I am passionate about, with a philanthropic element. Getting involved in GUCFS has undoubtedly been the best thing i have done at university, especially being able to work with three incredible charities! Last year I joined the committee as Head of Womenswear, sourcing designers for creative photoshoots & the fashion show, Horizon 2017. As Secretary of GUCFS 18, I am really excited to have more responsibility and help GUCFS grow & expand! I can't wait for 2017/18 to really get underway!
Sponsorship Director: Molly Barrass 3rd Year Business Mgt Being part of GUCFS has been the highlight of my time at university. Watching the society grow year on year is something I’m super proud to be a part of. It’s a great way to meet incredible people and raise money for deserving charities. Director of Marketing: Sophie Bruce 3rd Year Politics
This is my first year being part of the GUCFS committee, and one aspect that really drew my interest to the society is the opportunities it offers. Aside from being a fashion show, GUCFS gives you a chance to get real hands-on experience in a field you are passionate about, with the experience and freedom that many Graduate positions don’t. I am so excited to be involved in such an exciting and fulfilling project and hope to broaden GUCFS’ marketing reach to its full potential.
Digital media: Anna Wright 4th Year Central and Eastern European Studies I have now been involved in GUCFS for two years, beginning in 2nd Year as a Brand Ambassador for Unleashed2016. I loved being a BA before stepping on committee, as it gave me the necessary experience to identify my strengths and choose the right place for me on committee - GUCFS embodies my interests whilst satisfying my creative flair. Head of graphics/design: Emily Breen 4th Year Product Design Engineering I first got involved in GUCFS after going to see Unleashed in my second year. I was so inspired & decided to apply for the role of graphic design and have been here ever since! GUCFS is such a great way to meet new people and work on a truly unique project whilst raising money for a fantastic cause in the process. Graphics: Iona Campbell 3rd Year English Literature Having been to Horizon 2017, I knew that I would love to be part of GUCFS. Graphics and fashion are something i’ve always been interested and being part of the committee lets me explore both of these. All the people I have met through the committee have been lovely and I really enjoy the time i’ve spent working with them so far! Mostly importantly, however, is the charity element - I love that what we are doing goes towards an amazing cause that many people in Scotland and even internationally hold dear. Technology: Emily Youngs 3rd Year Computing Science/ Business and Management Having attended Horizon and Unleashed, I decided I wanted to be involved in such an exciting and expanding society. This is my first year being a part of the GUCFS committee and it has given me a real insight into the hard work that goes on backstage for such a rewarding cause. Videography: Sarah Findlay 3rd Year Film and Television and Theatre Studies After attending Horizon 2017 and seeing the amazing fundraising efforts of the previous GUCFS committee, I was super keen to get involved. One of the key reasons for getting involved was that GUCFS encompasses both charity and fashion, and is a great platform for developing videography techniques and creating content that can be shared across campus and beyond. Videography: Hannah Lysons 3rd Year Philosophy Since my first year, GUCFS has been everywhere I have gone on campus - from seeing BAs doing interacting with the student body, to GUCFS’s presence during Freshers’ Week at the unions. After going to Horizon as a guest last year, I knew that joining GUCFS would be a perfect outlet for me to put my videography and video editing skills to the test, and make a bunch of new friends. Creative director: Anne Manuel 4th year Sociology and Politics I first heard about GUCFS during my second year at university, and wish I had gotten involved sooner.I joined the committee last year as Creative Assistant, helping the Creative team to organise and source fashion content for the photoshoots and the show, Horizon 2017. This was a fantastic opportunity to put in practice what I had learnt during an Internship at London Fashion Week! This year I am proud to be the Creative Director for FOCUS2018, and really excited to share my ideas for such a great cause!

Menswear: Fiona Hanna 3rd Year Business and Management After being a Brand Ambassador for Horizon, I knew I wanted to become more involved in the show once I’d watched it. This year I am Head of Menswear, which allows me to work with great designers in order to raise money for such an amazing Charity. I am already loving it, so I cannot wait for the events to come. Womenswear: Lucy Aitken 2nd Year Psychology and Business and Management As soon as I arrived at university, I applied to become a Brand Ambassador for Horizon, and haven’t looked back since. Everyone made me feel so welcome and knowing all the work we were putting in was for charity just made me I want to be even more involved this year. I’m now in charge of Womenswear and I cannot wait for everyone to see all our amazing designers! FUN FACT: I play the ukulele and can rap Goldigger by Kanye West
Model Management: Eilidh Tippen 3rd Year History and History of Art I got involved in GUCFS in my first year, helping backstage as a dresser for the show Unleashed. It was such a buzz being involved in the backstage aspect of the show. For Horizon I was in charge of Menswear and absolutely loved being on the committee as everyone was so passionate about the show and our cause, SAMH. It was such an exciting atmosphere backstage on the night and incredibly rewarding seeing our year of hard work finally paying off. FUN FACT: I don’t know where the pound sign is on my laptop so I just copy and paste it from google every time I need a pound sign
Finance Director: Siân Powell 4th Year Single Honours Economics This is my first year in the GUCFS family. I decided to join this team of passionate and dedicated people for the simple reason that I wanted to experience something new and different. Having spent 3 years in trading and investment oriented activities I thought it was time for me to use my experience for something closer to my values, something that mattered: raising money for charity. I have always loved fashion and I liked the idea of using a fashion show to achieve philanthropic goals. I am looking forward to working in this amazing team and help bring a spectacular show to life. Creative Fundraising: Beth O Shea 2nd Year History Having gone to Horizon in my first year, I knew that I didn’t want to just be an onlooker the following year. I’ve always loved fashion and throughout my life I’ve been a part of successful fundraisers, so I’m lucky to be able to combine the two as Creative Fundraiser. I’m really excited to be a part of GUCFS this year as I have the opportunity to be involved in organising an amazing show while raising money and awareness for our chosen charity! Director of Production: Rosalie Klein 4th Year Business & Management As a fresher, I joined GUCFS at the very start in 2015. Throughout the years it has given me the unique opportunity to help fundraise for three amazing charities, but also have hands-on experience in different departments - from production, to sponsorship, or marketing. This year’s GUCFS family is so passionate and excited about what’s to come that I just can’t wait to make this show more spectacular than ever as part of the Production Team. Be ready, cause we are! Event Operations: Chloe Singh 2nd Year Sociology Horizon 2017 was one of my favourite events at uni to date and after going I knew I really wanted to get involved in the committee. I’m a creative person who loves fashion and the fact that the entire committee is so dedicated to fundraising as much as possible for such a worthy cause is so rewarding. My role is Events Operations on the Production team. I can’t wait to work with the team and get everything underway so we can raise lots of money for charity. FUN FACT: I've danced in Disneyland Florida (not just like having a boogie, actually on stage)

Head of Public Relations: Pauline Bricault 4th Year Economics and Business Management GUCFS has been a very important part of my whole academic journey at the University of Glasgow. I joined the society in its founding year in 2014 and saw the society grow incredibly fast. Being eclectic, I contributed to different teams throughout the years, starting in the Front of House department, then helping in the Creative team and finally I am extremely excited to be responsible of Publicity this year, I know this is going to be such a fun and rewarding experience! Publicity: Morgan Rodgers 2nd Year Mechanical Engineering I joined GUCFS hoping that it would help me meet a lot of new people and be able to do something that didn't involve about 100 equations (like my degree does!). I’m very excited to be a part of GUCFS as i haven’t done anything like it before and had heard about the successes of the first two shows before starting university. I can’t wait to actually be a part of organising it instead of being in the crowd and see what goes on behind the scenes. FUN FACT: I have a really strange obsession with the number pi.
